Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson wake up and find the cane from their visitor the night before, Dr. Mortimer, with bite marks from his dogs carrying it around, also it had the initials CC carved in. When Henry and Watson Harbor the fugitive. They go on a stakeout for two nights and don’t catch anything suspicious. On the third night they catch Barry more signaling someone out in the distance with a candle. She told him that because she thought he was Sir Henry Baskerville. Watson and Baskerville hear that a convict has gone on the loose. Dr. Watson went to the moor, the Baskervilles home, instead of Sherlock Holmes as mission from Sherlock. Ms. Stapleton warned him to leave. Dr. Watson and Sherlock Holmes received a telegram saying that the Baskervilles need their help. She told him to forget what he said because she meant it to Henry and asked Watson not to tell her husband.
