  1. Interactive White Board By: Brielle Scarano Matthew McGuigan Jessica Raimundo

  2. MicroTouch By 3M • “3M MicroTouch™ System SCT3250EX offers a high-endurance solution that is unaffected by on-screen contaminants such as chemicals, grease, dirt, and water. This makes it ideal for touch applications where exceptional performance, vibrant optics and environmental robustness is required, 24-hours a day, 7 days a week.”

  3. PROS & CONS • The surface durability is great and the colored display holds up well. • It has around at 15 millisecond response. • Oil, water or other residue on hands do not throw off the multiple touch points. • Geared more towards businesses and not classrooms. • Smaller then most smart boards, usually around a 22 inch display.

  4. Promethean IWB The “ActivBoard+2” makes interactivity easy by featuring easy height adjustable capability. The ActivBoard+2 is an all-in-one interactive learning solution, a complete system that includes a choice of ActivBoard sizes, a choice of short-throw projectors and secure installation mountings.

  5. PROS & CONS • The attached projector makes it easier for the teacher to calibrate vs a moveable IWB on wheels. • It can be raised and lowered by the push of a button to be more accessible to students. • It is not portable so teachers cannot move it if needed.

  6. SMART Board SBD600 series “Two can be better than one when it comes to using the SMART Board interactive whiteboard. With the new SMART Board SBD600 series, two people can work on SMART Notebook software files simultaneously, using their fingers or a pen. The press of one button in the SMART Notebook toolbar creates two separate workspaces on the board.”

  7. Pros & cons • Two people can work on it at once • Stationary • Projector is attached so there is no problem with throwing off the calibration. • The board is very sensitive • Not moveable • Does not adjust in high after mounted
