  3. How often do Tornadoes happen? • Per year Tornadoes in the states equal to 818 • In 2011 America had 769 tornadoes . • That is 49 less Tornadoes! • That is also 49 less destruction and 49 less lives loss

  4. What structures/feature are directly involved with Tornado • Tornado damage many, many things such as trees, houses, and cars. • The damage all depends on the Fujita Scale. • The Fujita Scale tells us what kind of Tornado it is, How high the winds, and the damage it will do.

  5. Describe a typical occurrence of Tornado. What usually happens? • Before a Tornado there is a greenish sky, there is a low lying cloud (funnel cloud, in which a tornado is formed), and thunder. • There is also a loud roar similar to a freight train.

  6. What are the most extreme conditions that happen because of Tornado Damage is very severe from Tornadoes. Houses are blown away. Trees knocked down. Power lines down.

  7. What type of measurement scale/rating is used to classify Tornadoes? The Fujita Scale… The Fujita Scale is what they use to measure the winds of Tornadoes Also the damage Tornadoes cause from what type of Tornado it is

  8. Describe any after effects of Tornadoes on the Earth. When you are riding down a street with Tornado damage you see trees on houses. Cars flipped over. Houses blown down. The damage is bad.

  9. What Are The Key Terms Related To Tornadoes To create a Tornado there must be a hot and cold front. A thunderstorm. And a low lying funnel cloud.

  10. Any Other Important Facts To Share SAFTEY

  11. Before A Tornado • You will see a low lying cloud. (Funnel Cloud) • You will experience so thunder and hail. • There will be a greenish sky • If you see these signs go to SHELTER

  15. More To Know…

  16. Who Created The Fujita Scale? • A man named Ted Fujita from the UOC (University of Chicago) was an amazing scientist who loved discovering and learning about Tornadoes. • He was learning about the winds of Tornado and how they Were catorgorized thus forth the Fujita Scale.
