  2. Click Dreamweaver Site

  3. Site Name • Site Name: Personal Site

  4. Local Site Folder • Local Site Folder: Click Folder and Navigate to…

  5. Choose Root Folder Desktop  Web Site 1  Dreamweaver Folder

  6. HighlightDreamweaver folder  Click Choose

  7. You will see the Site Setup again. • Please click SAVE.

  8. Files Panel: You should see your folder & files within.

  9. From the Files tab  double CLICK your INDEX.htm file (this is your HOME PAGE.)

  10. Linking buttons… Click on Button or image you want to link. Then go to Properties Panel (below) In the Properties Panel, click circle to the Right of the LINK box and drag to the PAGE you want to LINK TO in the Files Panel. (makes an arrow) Continue…

  11. Drag to the PAGE you want to LINK TO in the Files Panel. (arrow) DRAG

  12. We are still on Index page (homepage). Now click on 2nd button and repeat steps for linking to 2nd page. (see below) DRAG

  13. Go thru ALL buttons and link to appropriate pages from the Properties panel. • You will complete this for ALL 4 pages. (linking the buttons and footers and naming the appropriate footer page depending on what page you are on.)

  14. Footers • If you have Footers at the bottom of your page, please link these as well. (Drag from properties panel to files panel) DRAG

  15. Footerscontinued… • Now, click on footer of the actual page you are on and give it an appropriate Title. Keep it simple, this will be seen on your website. • SAVE then Preview.

  16. External Linking • Click on the image. • Then go to website you want to link to and copy the exact browser name into the Link box on properties panel. • Under TARGET pull down to _blank SAVE…then Preview.
