Common Admission Test 2017 Syllabus

All the Indian Institutes of Management conduct the Common Admission Test on rotational basis. IIM Lucknow is conducting the CAT 2017.   1. All the Indian Institutes of Management conduct the Common Admission Test on rotational basis. IIM Lucknow is conducting the CAT 2017. There is no fixed syllabus prescribed by IIMs for the exam but through expert analysis of previous years’ papers, some important topics from each area are discovered.   2. The Question paper of CAT is divided into three sections which are:- • Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC) • Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR) • Quantitative Ability/Analysis (QA) • Important Topics of all the sections are listed ahead

  3. Important Topics:- • Reading Comprehension • English Grammar • Synonyms and Antonyms • Jumbled Paragraph • Verbal Reasoning • Cloze Passage • Facts-Interferences-Judgements • Word Usage (Vocabulary) • Sentence Correction

  4. Important Topics:- • Bar Graphs • Blood Relations • Binary Logic • Calendars • Caselets • Clocks • Column Graphs • Combination of two or more types linked to each other. • Cubes • Line Charts • Pie Chart • Number and Letter Series • Seating Arrangement • Syllogism • Tables • Venn Diagrams

  6. Solve sample papers. • Take online and offline mock tests regularly. • Appear for the official mock test released by IIM.
