  1. What is Mailing Label Printing and its Benefits? You must have noticed that everything you buy comes with a label. The label consists of the details of the products like cost, manufacturing date, expiry date, etc. The label is only to catch the customer's attention. It shows that labels hold great importance in any product. The labels are the first thing that the customer sees in any product. Label printing is the process of printing labels. It can be digitally, flexography, or any other. In this article, we are going to see two such types of label printings, which are - Avery and mailing label printing. ⚫Avery label printing This label printing uses adhesive. It works on paper envelopes, boxes, tubes, etc. It is also known as an adhesive label or sticky label. ⚫ ⚫Mailing label printing The mailing label printing makes printing postage for your letters, flats, and packages. These help you to print addresses, postages, etc. It is only printed for the stamps.

  2. Mailing Label printing is quite a technical method, and it has lots of basic terms which we should know. Let us understand them - 1.Material types - Material in the form of sheets on which the printing is done. 2.Adhesive types - The adhesive is the sticky part of the label. 3.Liner types - They are the carrier sheet for labels and adhesives. These are important because the labels depend on this only. They ensure if the labels are proper or not. 4.Thermal direct v/s Thermal transfer - These two are the methods of thermally printing labels. 5.Colors - Colours are used to make the label more attractive. These are the artworks that are printed on the labels. Things to keep in mind 1.Design the label - the foremost thing is to design the label according to the content and the need. 2.Correct size - always remember, this has very vital importance. According to the size, the labels are designed. 3.Quality - use good quality content. That is, the labels and the images and all other things on the label. Different types of labels 1. Brand label - this only has the name of the brand. It does not contain any other information. 2. Grade label - this represents the quality of the product. 3. Descriptive label - this contains all the information of the products such as ingredients, manufacturing date, expiry date, batch no. etc. Summary
