Things to Keep in Mind • Unpaid LOA • Probably no final pay, but should be checked with DLS • Paid LOA • Will need final pay entries by DLS • Is there an outstanding overpayment from current or prior leave? • Do you want to pursue? • will it be deducted from final pay? • Will department waive? • If so, advise DLS • DLS does not “approve” terminations DLS Lunch-n-Leaves 1/20/2011
