Building a Path of Benevolence, Honor, and Scholarship: A Four-Year Research Project Review at Basha High School

This project offers a structured guide for students at Basha High School to conduct a four-year research endeavor aimed at achieving the school's mission of benevolence, honor, and scholarship. Starting with a research proposal in the freshman year, students will progress through stages such as creating a game plan, annotated bibliography, research paper, and eventually the culminating project in their senior year. The goal is to empower students to connect their passion, knowledge, and actions in creating positive change through academic pursuit and real-world application. The project encourages students to apply for grants, refine topics, and build essential skills such as communication and leadership. By following this roadmap, students can make a lasting impact while enhancing their academic experience.

You can apply for a grant • Can I change my topic? • Although it is not impossible for students to change their research issue, it does involve considerable effort and commitment on their part. • Please understand that this is a 4-year research project and should be taken seriously as it will affect the English grade each year.

  9. You CAN make a difference! • http://www.ted.com/talks/lang/eng/adora_svitak.html • Adora Svitak says the world needs "childish" thinking: bold ideas, wild creativity and especially optimism. Kids' big dreams deserve high expectations, she says, starting with grownups' willingness to learn from children as much as to teach.
