Commandments: Six and Nine

  • 6) You shall not commit adultery.
  • 9) You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife.
  • These commandments serve as safeguards of God’s intention for human sexuality.
  • They warn against the disrespectful and harmful actions involving sex.

Why is Sexual Intercourse for Marriage?

Because sex is an intimateact.

Husband and wife give themselves totally and exclusively to each other in marriage.
