Resources: The Young Explorer Teachers’ Guide • Table of Contents on page 1 of each house • What’s in This Guide? on page 2 • Steps to Start on page 3 • What’s Inside [This] House on page 4 - an overview of the activities in each house • Learning Opportunities Matrix on page 5 - a checklist of the concepts and skills that are explored in each activity in the house • Moving Around the House on page 6 - a guide to use of the different modalities and options such as printing and recording as children explore the activities • Introducing [the Main Character] on page 7-9 • Page 7 - a step-by-step way of introducing the Young Explorer computer activities, curriculum extension offerings, and take-home exercises of each house. • Page 8 - pictorial representations of the main room and activity rooms of each house. • Page 9 - icons children will need to know to operate the house.
