  3. SHE Project (01/2006 - 06/2007)Expected Results State-level Guidelines for Quality Assurance in HE BiH Procedures for the Recognition of Degrees and Study Periods Outline for a BiH Qualifications Framework in Higher Education

SHE Project (01/2006 - 06/2007)Optimal Outcome • Three project objectives are developed by BiH experts at a country-wide level • Results endorsed by the Steering Board • Results fed into the two Bologna Process reporting benchmarks to review BiH’s progress National Report for BiH Ministerial Conference, London Dec 2006 May 2006

SHE Project (01/2006 - 06/2007)Co-ordination • Project Steering Board - guiding body - meets 3-4 times before May 2007 • 3 groups of experts (Task Forces) to develop – State-level Guidelines for Quality Assurance - Procedures for the Recognition of Qualifications - a BiH Framework for Qualifications in HE • CoE Project Team – project implementation

SHE Project (01/2006 - 06/2007)The Task Forces • 3 task forcesimplement project goals • Ministries and universities commissioned: > 1 senior level staff member per institution > student representatives • “The task force members > are authorised representatives of their institutions > assure a regular information and consultation between their institutions and theTask Force.”

SHE Project (01/2006 - 06/2007)1st task force meeting our programme • Recognition essentials in theory and practice • Outline task force objectives until June 2007 • Discuss (adopt?)the task force’s terms of reference • Fix dates for the next task force meetings • identify / assign tasks for preparation and follow up
