  2. The speciality culture/education is an integrated part of the curricular area called:TECHNOLOGIES. The educational’s curriculum of speciality is conceived as a modular structure, providing therefore a flexible approach.The modules approaches the main fields/areas specific to the work involved.In the modular content is specified the time, themes and the theoretical and practical share activities. The contents offers a wide palette of theoretical and practical activities through which the student can satisfy his sphere of interests specific to his area.

The structure’s speciality implies:The core curriculum with its modules included in the disciplines common trunk.The local development curriculum - practical training internships.The major aims of the educational process concerning the speciality culture are:►the development of a wide area of transferable abillities(vital key skills that people need in their training in order to occupy a job and their ability to adapt to the tehnologies and to the work practices that are always changing.)

  4. The following lesson that I’m about to present it’s a 10th grade lesson. THE FIELD: AESTETHICS AND THE HUMAN BODY CARE. THE MODULE: WOMAN’S HAIRCUTS. The lesson is conceived having as main methods of teaching and learning – the interactive methods determining: ►The students involving in the teaching act ► Stimulating the creativity, the originality, the spontaneity(very important in this field) ► The students motivation for the activity ► The interpersonal relationships development through observation(to observe the others qualities) ► formation and the development of the communicational skills, of the positive attitude towards those around us and also the mutual understanding and acceptance.

LESSON: Modern haircut TYPE LESSON: Acquiring new knowledge Resources:  Materials: Magazines, notebook/chip learning, worksheets, computer,a PC programme(of choosing haircuts), a short-movie: The Bob Haircut.  Procedure :conversation, the observation, the independent work, brainstorming, starbursting, case study. Forms of organization: frontal individual groups (6 students)

  6. Objectives: By the end of the lesson, the students will be able to : • Identify the criteria for choosing the right hairstyle; • Adapt the haircut to the customer characteristics; • Use the computer for choosing the right hairstyle; • Describe the haircut execution technique.

  7. Stage of the lesson 1.Preparatory phase(the evocation) - interpretation of new knowledge through the prior knowledge The class will be divided in 3-4 work groups of 6 students. The teacher writes on the blackboard the title and asks the students to analyze and to give arguments to the following theme:“Criteria for choosing the right hairstyle” The students will have 5 minutes to write their analysis and their arguments regarding the theme. Together with the teacher, they will talk and note the right criteria.

  8. 2.New knowledge transmission –the students’ active participation To transmit new knowledge it will be used : ►the star bursting method – it’s a stimulation way of individual and group creativity, it stimulates the questions’ creation. Each group work(made of 6 students) will receive a worksheet called: <The Bob Haircut> and they will be requested to form as many questions possible regarding the theme, questions that will be written down on the worksheet.

  10. ►the case study method – the students will watch a short movie regarding the bob haircut execution technique and their task it will be to answer to the questions they noted on their worksheet.

  12. 3.Reflection/feedback – the new knowledge, ideas exchange Each group will: ►Present the questions and the answers founded ►re-examines his own questions and answers comparing to other groups. ►Founds alternative solutions to the same problem or to the same type of task ►the students answers, the teacher receives a negative or positive feedback referring to the lesson’s aims. ►The teacher summarizes the information and with the students’ help he makes a sketch on the blackboard.

  13. Homework In order to apply in practical situations the theoretical knowledge, for rezolving practical problems, it’s proposed to students a homework which will complete the students’ portofolium. The homework will consist in a practical work, task made after he did a research using the recommended bibliography and a PC program of chosing the haircuts on the computer

  14. Using the teaching-learning methods, student-centered, efficiently involves the students through the stimulation of: creativity, imagination, perseverance. All these methods represents an ideal for the techonology teacher. “To teach to a student , it doesn’t mean to give him our truth, but to enlarge his own way of thinking, to help him understand the world through his own thinking. ’’(I.
