John Carter is based on the adventures of John Carter, the main character of Mars Series by Edgar Rice Burroughs. The film is directed by Andrew Stanton, written by Stanton, Mark Andrews and Michael Chabon, produced by Jim Morris, Lindsey Collins and Colin Wilson, and music composed by Michael Giacchino. The film was distributed by Walt Disney Pictures and was released on March 9, 2012. Filming began in November 2009 and filming was extended from January to July 2010. The film also marks the first time Andrew Stanton works in alive action film, following his work on Pixar animated films like Finding Nemo and Wall-E.
in the film we see the protagonist john carter go for gold but finds a necklace with a strange alien who teleports to a planet called barsoon(Mars). there is facing a civil war in the country for power, the part of a tribe that had no human features, it meets a friend and a very wanted barsoon of princess who falls in love. but it must engage with the other country to end the war.
But Carter does jonh stop and save the world, but when their happiness was to be performed, an alien returns to the earth and begins a search for a new collar to take him back to his love. wrote a diary telling his nephew to protect your body, since he had died by then. when his nephew comes to the mausoleum where the body was jonh carter the alien appears and tries to kill but saves his nephew jonh kills the alienand stays with her necklace, barsoon returns his love, but before he entrusts his nephew the important mission of caring for their property on earth.
