  1. FEI propose Paris 2024 Equestrian Jumping reverts to the traditional Olympic order The International Equestrian Federation has proposed that the Equestrian Jumping team competition at the Paris 2024 be held before the individual event. And that will be just like it was in previous editions before Tokyo 2020. The Swedish National Federation and the FEI Jumping Committee are among the stakeholders who have backed the proposal. The proposed change aims to help team chefs manage their teams and make necessary substitutions. And they have the freshest combinations for the most demanding individual final. Thus creating better competition and avoiding stress on tired horses. Olympic fans from all over the world can book Olympic Packages from our online platforms eticketing.co. However, the decision to reduce the team number from four to three. And that will draw criticism when it was introduced in Tokyo 2020, remains unchanged. The new three-horse rule was implemented for the first time at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. It means that teams could no longer drop their worst score. As a result, several teams were eliminated after a single mistake, including Ireland, Israel, and hosts Japan. British rider Harry Charles spoke out against the rule, saying that no riders were in favour of it. And that it was unfair to penalize a team for one rider's mistake. The FEI Jumping Committee has proposed changes to the minimum eligibility requirements. That is due to the following concerns that some combinations qualified for Tokyo at shows that were mistakenly approved by the FEI.

  2. Henrik von Eckermann Continues to Top World Rankings and Aiming France Olympic Marcus Ehning, who won the World Cup Final in 2021, is currently in second place in the Longines Rankings with his horse Star Gold. And he is targeting France Olympic. Scott Brash from Great Britain and his horse Hello Jefferson is in third place. While Martin Fuchs from Switzerland and his horse Clooney 51 are in fourth place. Peder Fredricson from Sweden and his horse All In are in fifth place. The Longines Rankings are based on points earned by riders and their horses in international competitions over the past 12 months. Henrik von Eckermann's next big goal is to win the individual gold medal at the France Olympics. He has already achieved Olympic team gold in Tokyo in 2021. And he has a remarkable record of victories in major championships and competitions. Those achievements include the recent Longines FEI Jumping World Cup Finals in Omaha. With more than one year to go until the France Olympic Games, von Eckermann will be focusing on finding the best plan for his horses and competing in both indoor and outdoor competitions. Von Eckermann's approach highlights the importance of building a strong relationship with horses. And understanding their individual needs and personalities. Spending time with horses every day and paying close attention to their body language and behaviour is crucial. And that is to develop this relationship and build trust. By doing so, riders can create a training plan tailored to the specific needs of each horse and work towards achieving long-term success. Von Eckermann's philosophy emphasizes the idea that training horses is not just about skill and technique, but also about developing a deep understanding of the animal and building a strong connection with them.

  3. Olympic Paris qualifier for horse jumping comes to OC after a long time The Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup is a highly prestigious event in the sport. And being selected to host it is a great honour for the Rancho Mission Viejo Riding Park. The fact that it is a qualifying event for the Olympic Paris adds even more importance to the competition. It will be interesting to see which countries and athletes participate. And who ultimately earns their spot in the Olympic Paris Games. The San Juan Capistrano International, which takes place from May 9 to 14. That is expected to culminate in the Longines Federation International Jumping Nations Cup USA competition from May 12 to 14. And that will serve as a qualifying event for the Olympic Paris Games. As it will be held on the West Coast for the first time. Stephanie Lightner, vice president of operations for Blenheim EquiSports, expressed excitement over bringing high-quality Equestrian jumping competition to Southern California. As it will give West Coast audiences the chance to witness the top-level sport. The event, held in San Juan Capistrano, is the third leg of the FEI Nations Cup series. In that event teams will compete for points to qualify for the Pan American Games in Santiago, Chili, the FEI Nations Cup Final. And for the major event which is the Paris 2024. The United States will be joined by teams from Ireland, Mexico, and Canada. The U.S. jumping team for the San Juan Capistrano competition will consist of riders from the American delegation that won the world championship five years ago, including Laura Kraut and Mclean Ward.
