  3. PLANNING • Careers education - situation in our school then Questions - What are the career educational activities we have done already? (example introducing different proffessions in lessons)‏ - What are classteacher's activities with the class? What are the possibilities to get more information outside the school? ALL THE TEACHERS ANALYZED THEIR SUBJECT AND FILLED THE QUESTIONNAIRE WITH THE SUGGESTIONS

STARTING THE NETWORK • MEETINGS WITH THE TEACHERS • ANALYZING INFORMATION GOT FROM THE PREVIOUS WORK – how to fit mapped material/information to the real action plan? • ROUNDTABLE IN LAUPA – area's working groups meet (Laupa PK, JKHK, Rapla Vesiroosi G)‏ • ACTION PLAN – analyzing, fixing etc • COURSE FOR WORKING GROUPS – finding weaknesses, strenghts, opportunities, dangers etc SWOT

  5. FORMING SCHOOL ACTION PLAN • PILOT SCHOOL – approval for action plan • Career educational action plan is a part of the school curriculum! • WORKING according to the THE ACTION PLAN

  6. AS A PARTNER SCHOOL • TG careers education regulation plan • Curriculum is ready • Mentors • Network – teachers, students, parents, other schools, local covernments, Innove, KENK, JKHK

AT THE MOMENT • Recurrent topic “Life-lasting learning and planning the career” • Careers education in Forms 9 and 11 • Activities included: markets, fancy fairs – Forms 1 to 4, careers days/projects in basics and secondary school, visiting companies (Form 8), meetings with ex-students, excursions • Careers information lectures and guidance in Forms 9 and 11 • Student company “UPS!” Form 11, school newspaper “Radiaator” • Economy lessons in forms 3 and 10 (one day as ‏a working shadow)‏
