New in 2006-2007 • Student Workers (10 part-time employees) • Commons Café (opened November 06) • New Residence Dining Pizza Program (Feb 07’) • Smart Market (grab and go retail program) Nov 06’ • Grill-To-Go (summer 06’ and all school breaks • 2nd dinner entrée added Jan. 07 (grilled items, quick service items, ‘fast-food feel items’. • Higher-End Deli Line in resident dining for dinner (jan 07) • CustoMenu Program 2006 • Added More Grill Items (Quesadillas, Cheesesteaks to Union Menu (2006)

  6. Improvements • Moved Breakfast to Dining Hall in 06’ (Increased Breakfast Participation 17%) • Moved Sunday Meals to Dining Hall in 06’ (Increased Meal Participation 26.5%) • New Comment Card Board • Increased Participation in Commuter Plan every semester since 2005 inception

  7. Achievements • “Double Gold” rating in both Food Safety and Occupational Safety and Health audits performed by the National Safety Foundation in Feb 2007 • All Management Staff Certified in “Genuine Leadership” 2007 • Sustainability Award 2005 and 2006 from Food Alliance Midwest

  8. “CustoMenus” Menu Design and Promotion determined By the Sodexho Student Board of Directors Menus still customized At the local level to fit Specific needs/requests

Customer Satisfaction • Mystery Shopper Program done quarterly • “Circle of Customer Excellence” training implemented in 2006-2007 school year • “Rants, Raves, and Craves” comment card boards installed in Union and Dining Hall • Special Buffet Dinners held throughout the year (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Mexican Fiesta, Valentines Day, Steak nights, etc) • Annual Paper Surveys of Customer Satisfaction
