  2. Ever Notice How Many “Why” Questions Kids Ask?Do You Ever Get Tired Of Answering “Why” Questions?Just Think Of All The “Why” Questions God Gets In A DayTHROUGHOUT THE BIBLE, MANY WE CONSIDER FAITHFUL ASKED “WHY”

  3. These “Why” Questions InvolvedPromiseProphecyPerplexityPridePity

  4. ABRAHAMWhy Believe Your Promise? And he said, Lord GOD, whereby shall I know that I shall inherit it?(Gen 15:8) Did you ever wonder if God was coming through? Have you ever waited a long time and wondered, “Maybe He forgot me.”

  5. God Told Abraham Why On the same day the Lord made a covenant with Abram, saying:“To your descendants I have given this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the River Euphrates— the Kenites, the Kenezzites, the Kadmonites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Rephaim, the Amorites, the Canaanites, the Girgashites, and the Jebusites.” Gen. 15:18-21 God (who cannot lie) made the covenant HE EXPECTED ABRAHAM TO STAND ON IT

  6. SARAHWhy Believe A Prophecy So Preposterous As Giving Birth at 90? Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, saying, “After I have grown old, shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also?” Gen. 18:12 Logically:Sarah was right. That had not happened since before The Flood. Emotionally: it was too good to be true. Spiritually: the promise was given by God.

  7. God Told Sarah Why Is anything too hard for the Lord? At the appointed time I will return to you, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.”(Gen. 18:14) Once again, God affirmed His message, this time to Sarah. How many times have we secretly felt it just isn’t possible?

  8. JOB MOSES JOSHUAWhy Am I Being Persecuted? What have I done to You, O watcher of men? Why have You set me as Your target, so that I am a burden to myself? Job 7:20 So Moses returned to the Lord and said,“Lord, why have You brought trouble on this people? Why is it You have sent me? Exo. 5:22 And Joshua said,“Alas, Lord GOD, why have You brought this people over the Jordan at all—to deliver us into the hand of the Amorites, to destroy us? Oh, that we had been content, and dwelt on the other side of the Jordan!“Joshua 7:7

  9. God Told Them Why JOB 40:1-2Moreover the Lord answered Job, and said:“”Shall the one who contends with the Almighty correct Him?   He who rebukes God, let him answer it. Exo. 6:1Then the Lord said to Moses, “Now you shall see what I will do to Pharaoh. For with a strong hand he will let them go, and with a strong hand he will drive them out of his land.” Joshua 7:10So the Lord said to Joshua: “Get up! Why do you lie thus on your face?“

  10. ISRAELITESWhy Can’t We Show Our Pride By Getting A King? Nevertheless the people refused to obey the voice of Samuel; and they said,“No, but we will have a king over us, that we also may be like all the nations, and that our king may judge us and go out before us and fight our battles.” (1 Sam. 8:19-20) They were asking, “Why can’t we be like everyone else?” They forgot they already could lay claim to being ruled by “THE KING of KINGS.”

  11. God Told Why They Shouldn’t Now therefore, heed their voice. However, you shall solemnly forewarn them, and show them the behavior of the king who will reign over them. (1 Samuel 8:9) Sometimes God allows us to have what we ignorantly ask for just to show us it was a really, bad idea. Unfortunately, many ignore the warnings because our ears are filled with the devil’s ear plugs.

  12. JONAHWhy Can’t God Show Pity To ME By Zapping Them? Therefore now, O Lord, please take my life from me, for it is better for me to die than to live!. (Jonah 4:3) And it happened, when the sun arose, that God prepared a vehement east wind; and the sun beat on Jonah’s head, so that he grew faint. Then he wished death for himself, and said, “It is better for me to die than to live.”(Jonah 4:8)

  13. God Answers Jonah Jonah was complaining because God allowed a plant to grow overnight and shade him, only to send a worm to destroy it. God’s response: And should I not pity Nineveh, that great city, in which are more than one hundred and twenty thousand persons who cannot discern between their right hand and their left and much livestock?

  14. If God Answered All These “WHY’s”Don’t You Think He Can Answer Our“WHY’s”
