  2. Go to university home page – www.gre.ac.uk – and click on ‘student portal’

  3. Use your university network username and password to login, in or outside the university

  4. Go to the Library & Computing tab on the portal then Click on Databases & Journals

  5. Select Electronic Databases from A-Z or descriptions

  6. Select RIBA Library catalogue from Databases descriptions or list

  7. Click to search catalogue

  8. RIBA Catalogue search screen Type in search words in boxes – pull down menus change fields or ‘and’‘or’ or ‘not’ Click on Search Catalog Can limit to articles, drawings etc.

  9. Results show brief details – click on ‘view’ to see full record

  10. ‘Go back’ to refs. ‘backward’ or ‘forward’ in list Tick box to mark for print or save the record – not full text article

  11. Once records are selected, click on Print/Capture to print or save records

  12. Choose to print or save the marked records

  13. Records will display so you can go to File, then print or save to a file

  14. The Notice Board includes topics of interest

  15. Results are drawn from a catalogue search – view as before
