II Project work – main results • Description of the sources and methods, including the GNI Inventory Process tables • Self-assessment questionnaires • Expert assessment of strengths and weaknesses • Improvement on the particular areas such as Price&Volume estimates, SUT, Sector accounts, QNA, exhaustiveness, GDP-GNI transition, HFCE, dwelling services, own account software, CFC and capital stock • Implementation of ESA 2010 road maps for implementing the ESA 2010 methodology and for data transmission

ESA 2010 methodology for National & Regional Accounts Montenegro State of play of data transmission Key change in 2017 Transmitted Missing • Annual national accounts data have been submitted, but there are gaps, e.g. data on population, employment (in hours worked) and on gross wages and salaries • International Trade in Services (ITSS) data for reference year 2016 submitted in line with official reporting standards • HICP produced since 2012 • Regional figures are the same as national ones: Montenegro consists of one single statistical region at level 3 • Improved completeness of data submission for annual national accounts • Historic time series and the latest data for energy statistics • Labour Force Survey (LFS) data in compliance with EU Regulation 0577/1998 published for the first time in 2017 • Improved provision of STS indicators on industrial turnover

ESA 2010 methodology for National & Regional Accounts Albania State of play of data transmission Missing Key change in 2017 Transmitted • Main output (1996-2016) and expenditure (2016-2015) components provided in current and previous year prices • ITSS data for the majority of the required sectors punctually transmitted • No improvement of compliance to the annual national accounts data requirements as regards completeness • 2016 annual data for expenditure have not been transmitted • Annual ITSS geographical allocation as well as the reporting of FISIM need improving • Gaps for infra-annual statistics need to be filled • Energy statistics domain: full historic time series (from 1990 onwards) and provides latest data (up to 2016) on energy, including the share of renewable energy • LFS data transmission started with 2017Q1 to 2017Q3 • HICP at national level in February 2017

Bosnia and Herzegovina • ESA 2010 methodology for National & Regional Accounts State of play of data transmission Missing Key change in 2017 Transmitted • Annual national accounts data according to ESA 2010 methodology transmitted in May 2017 • Gross Domestic Product by output and expenditure approaches provided in current and previous year prices and in chain linked volume • Reporting gaps in some areas, such as: regional accounts, Labour Force Survey Data, quarterly HICP data, as well as monthly and quarterly balance of payments and quarterly international investment position data • Compliance with data submission needs improving • HICP data missing • Annual national accounts data according to ESA 2010 methodology transmitted in May 2017 • Switch from ESA 95 to ESA 2010 for quarterly accounts by output and expenditure approaches • TIC statistics covering reference periods 2010, 2012, 2014 and 2016 transmitted for the first time
