  3. LOCATION • The capital of Senegal is Dakar. • Thelatitude and longitude of Dakar is 14º 40' N and 17º 26' W • Senegal is in West Africa.

  4. PLACE • The key physical features in Senegal are low, rolling, plains rising up to foothills in southeast. There is also Heavier vegetation in the south and south-east of Senegal. • Senegal's natural resources are fish, phosphates, and iron ore. • most of Senegal's people live in the rocky part of the land.

MOVEMENT OF PEOPLE AND GOODS • Senegal's main exports are Fish, groundnuts, petroleum products, phosphates, and cotton. • Senegal’s main imports are Foods and beverages, consumer goods, capital goods, and petroleum products. • Senegal was once a French colony. • Senegal has been regarded as one of Africa's model democracies. • Senegal has lots of hotels and travel destinations. For tourists.

HUMAN ENVIRONMENT INTERACTION • The climate in Senegal is Tropical. • Even though tropical sounds nice there are threats from this climate for instance land duration, food security, flooding, erosion, it has a negative impact on jobs and industries, and most importantly their culture heritage is being threatened.
