A well-planned site setup is vital for safely conducting project works. Key elements include providing adequate welfare facilities, first aid, and safe access/egress, ensuring vehicle and pedestrian segregation, and establishing fire and emergency procedures. These not only safeguard the health and wellbeing of the workforce but also protect all visitors to the site. This guidance outlines the necessary provisions such as sufficient toilets, seating, first aid facilities, and fire safety measures, along with the need for regular cleaning and maintenance. Support from the CITB Growth Fund aids in skill development within the construction industry.
