  3. Row 1, Col 1 What is Love one Another? In the church we do acts of service. We collect food, money, gifts, etc. for those in need to fulfill this commandment.

  4. 1,2 Who are the Fathers of the Church? Ecclesiastical writers of Christian antiquity who have a great understanding of doctrine and holiness of life. Acclaimed by the church as witnesses of faith to Jesus Christ.

  5. 1,3 What is Prayer? Raising of one's mind and heart to God or the requesting of good things from God. A way of communicating with God.

  6. 1,4 What are “Sacraments”? The ways God communicates His love and relationship with his people. “Sacred moments with God”

  7. 2,1 What is Discipleship? The call to this is our call to follow Jesus Christ faithfully and share in his mission, joy and sufferings.

  8. 2,2 What is the Immaculate Conception? Mary being conceived without sin through the gift of the Holy Spirit and being chosen to become the mother of Jesus

  12. 3,2 What is Pentecost? Occurs 50 days after Easter. It marks the birth of the church. When the Holy Spirit came to the upper room to the people in the room, came upon them, and told them to go out into the world and spread the good news

  14. 3,4 What is Reconciliation? We make the wrong choice when we sin and we need to ask God’s forgiveness in this sacrament.

  15. 4,1 What are our Decisions? These should be founded in doing what is correct according to God’s moral law, Gods’ grace, and the voice of a well-formed conscience.

  16. 4,2 What is Vatican 2? This Ecumenical council was a meeting of all the bishops of the church that changed many church practices, including how we take communion, how churches are built, and more.

  18. 4,4 What is Holy Water? When we bless ourselves with this we remember our baptism into God’s family, the Church.

  19. 5,1 What is Respecting Life? This includes not taking a life of an unborn child or someone who is sick, as well as not harming our bodies by taking illegal drugs.

  20. 5,2 Who is St. Thomas Aquinas? Priest and doctor of the Church, patron of universities and of students. Feast day is January 28th. Wrote Summa Theologica. Italian philosopher and one of the leading Roman Catholic theologians
