DDM Operations • DDM Operations group emerged in Feb 2006 • Coordinated by Alexei Klimentov • Members: • Cloud responsibles + some other people • Described on wiki: https://twiki.cern.ch/twiki/bin/view/Atlas/DDMOperationsGroup • and in note: • ATLAS Distributed Data management Operations (ATL-SOFT-PUB-2006-006, http://documents.cern.ch/cgi-bin/setlink?base=atlnot&categ=PUB&id=soft-pub-2006-006 ) ATLAS DDM Operations

Main tasks • DDM operation coordinator and central operations team • day-by-day data transfer between Tier-0 and Tier-1s • deployment of DDM/DQ2 releases • 24/7 support of central DDM operations facilities • support DDM Savannah users requests portal • keep data integrity • help ATLAS users to transfer data • communication with services developers and providers ATLAS DDM Operations

Tasks • Regional DDM operations group • day-by-day data transfer between Tier-1 and Tier-2s • day-by-day data transfer between Tier-1 and Tier-0 • data exchange between Tier-1s during RAW data reprocessing • DDM/DQ2 SW installation and maintenance on VO boxes • keep data integrity • help to ATLAS users to transfer data ATLAS DDM Operations
