  4. Portfolio Check • Friday, Feb. 11, 2011 • Cover sheet • Tab dividers labeled • Papers organized • Correct type of notebook

  5. Construction Samples • Always use a sloper. • Always cut fabric evenly. • Always mount samples on your own paper. • Always label with correct name of sample. • Always write your name in bottom right corner.

  6. Expectations • Follow all Parkland rules and policies, for example: • No food in classroom • No cell phones • 10 tardies(semester) = 1 absence • More than 5 absences(grading period) = failing grade

  7. Grading System • Daily grades = 1 grade • Tests = 2 grades • Portfolio Checks = 2 grades • Projects = 3 grades • Midterm = 3 grades • End-of-course exam = 25% of semester final
