  7. Scalability • Indexing according to model type • Thunderstone = 50,000 files • Mini = 300,000 files • GB-7007= Up to 10,000,000 files • GB-9009= Up to 1,000,000,000 files • EX-5000= Unlimited

  8. Why use it? • Fast results • Efficient indexing • High relevancy • Customizable • Easy scaling

  9. What is Cloud Connect? • Free service provided by Google • Allows users to retrieve information from Google based Apps • Google Docs

  10. What is Cloud Connect? • Upload a Google cloud based app on to the server • Can now be accessible by anyone in the firm through the cloud • Other Google apps: Gmail, Gcalender

  11. Cloud Connect • Allows workers to search across both on-premise and cloud-based content from a single search box.

  12. Privacy issues? • Not a worry • GSA administrator can control search limitations • Not all information has to be available • Share info at your own peril

  13. Extra features • Can tap into social networks such as Twitter • Retrieve relevant information • Search for individuals • Helps connect experts within the same field
