針對婦女的暴力行為 • 《聯合國消除對婦女的暴力行為宣言》 (UN Declaration on the Elimination of Violence Against Women) • 「對婦女的暴力行為」：任何基於性別的暴力行為，並對婦女造成身心方面或性方面的傷害或痛苦。這包括威脅進行某類行為、強迫或任意剝奪自由，不論這些事情是發生在公共還是私人生活之中 • 侵犯了婦女的人權及基本自由，妨礙了婦女享有這些人權與自由，而這種暴力行為亦是歷史上男女權力不平等關係的一種表現，做成了男性對婦女的支配和歧視，妨礙了婦女的充分發展，迫使婦女陷入從屬於男性的地位

Stalking, for example, has proved difficultto prosecute under general provisions, leadingsome Member States to create a specific offence.” • “The international consensus and basic principle isthat the law cannot tolerate violence. The findingsof the study have led to the articulation of proposedrevisions of and additions to existing relevantminimum standards which need to underpin(development of) legislation in all EU MemberStates. • Stalking: establish a criminal offence of repeatedviolence including undermining theintegrity of the victim and restriction of liberty.”
