What is it used for? Some of them interested in traveling. (2) Problems: They don’t know something more about three Gorges They can’t get the general meaning of the passage and don’t know how to deal with new words while reading . (3) Needs: They need the ways to get the general meaning of the passage and deal with new words

Ways: 1>Look at the pictures and title , they will help you to guess. 2>Skim the passage to find: Who/When/Where/How/ What. 3>Summary those information with one or two sentences. ②Read and skim to find the information . ③Write a sentence about the general idea of the passage.
