  1. What is the purpose of the exchange rate? .

  2. What is an exchange rate? An exchange rate is a rate at which one currency gets exchanged for another currency of another nation. It is a marking scale upon which we determine the value of various currencies in relation to each other. Two currencies come into action at an exchange rate: Domestic Currency Foreign Currency ● ●

  3. If you wish to send money online in an international money transfer system you need to know the exchange rate between the domestic currency and foreign currency. A quote that presents the price of a unit of foreign currency in terms of the number of units of domestic currency, is known as a direct quotation. Whereas, a quote expressing the price of a domestic currency in terms of the number of units of foreign currency is called an indirect quotation.

  4. When talking about exchange rates, there are two kinds of exchange rates: flexible and fixed. Flexible exchange rates, as the name suggests, change constantly, while fixed exchange rates remain the same and rarely change. There are many factors that affect the exchange rates like the interest rates, financial stability and money supply. All these factors represent what is happening within a country and how the country is holding up economically.

  5. In international money transfers, it is important to know the exchange value of both currencies. Favourable exchange rates mean that the receiver at the other end receives an amount worth the money sent, whereas the unfavourable exchange rates can lead to loss of money.

  6. However, a constant examination of the fluctuating exchange rates helps the sender to plan the overseas money transfer accordingly. The best online money transfer in Australia takes immense effort and consideration in offering the highest exchange rates in the market for the benefit of their customers. Along with the highest exchange rates, they also tend to provide offers in seasonal times.
