Marketing • We again plan to do more marketing outside of Germany this year, in particualr in adjacent territories such as Poland, Czech republic, etc. • We are considering some different ways of telemarketing by utilising the services of independent consultants or training companies who we will ask to contact registered delegeates to secure their attendance in return for free exposure and/or discounted presence at the event. • ACTION: Can anyone help with contacts at the company ‚Werbehaus‘ in Germany who are a target organisation for us in respect of the above. • This year we are working with zdNet on a ‚one-minute pitch‘ idea which will be free to sponsors, giving them good publicity prior to tand at the event – zdNet will also interview delegates on site • We are currently creating significanlty modernised website with new improved features such as ‚matchmaking‘ for sponsor-delegate meetings, personalised floor plans, mobile friendly features , mor euse of video etc. • We are also working on a specific Mobile ‚app‘ • We have just got Arpen Tucker who runs two LinkedIn Data Centre groups to invite his groups to our events so will be exploiting this and his relationship with the Data Centre Alliance (DCA) who are considering hosting a meeting in Frankfurt. • We expect to get significant cooperation with the Green Grid on helping promote the event this year and have secured their chairman as a speaker. • We are planning a networking party on Tuesday evening with entertainment, drinks and snacks

  6. Comments • While we are strong in Storage we need more people with strengths in Virtualization, Cloud, etc to help with future expansion(this does not mean less focus on Storage) • Paul & Chris suggested we set up an advisory board in the UK and Germany (Munich) to help us with long-term growth not only in Germany but also to seriously look into growing a second event in other locations.
