SAT and ACT • How many tests should my student take? • ACT from February is *reportable* • How to set up an ACT account – refer to the email originally sent on 5/1, re-sent on 9/12 • If you had accommodations, it will ask you.   19. When should I apply? • Early Decision - Binding – BEWARE • Early Action- Best of both worlds • Rolling Admissions- Reviewed as received • Regular (Priority) Deadline • What if I miss the application deadline?? (Transcript requests must be in 3 weeks before the deadline)

  20. Transcript Process • Can be dropped off to Mrs. Kahney before school or after school • Signed Blue form- MUST ACCOMPANY each request • Type Senior courses once • Re-type if there are any class changes • $4 Transcript fee (cash/check) each request • SAT/ACT scores– UC DOES NOT SEND SCORES

  21. Transcript ProcessDEADLINES Drop off in the School Counseling Office before or after school only! • Adhere to published transcript request deadlines. See Transcript Request form and website • Give yourself extra time for your applications • Check your email!
