Code of Ethics cont. • Full responsibility and liability for actions • Protect safety, health & welfare of public • Perform all certified activities in accordance with established standards and procedures • Perform in ethical and professional manner • Avoid conflicts of interest or openly disclose WWW.NRSB.ORG

  10. Representations • Sign off on application whether or not radon license, certification or accreditation has been denied, suspended, revoked or not renewed by Federal, National or state program • If yes, letter explaining reasons WWW.NRSB.ORG

  12. Who initiates the complaint • Consumer • Complaint submitted in writing to NRSB along with documented evidence WWW.NRSB.ORG

  13. Types of Complaints • Falsifying certification documents • Radon mitigation system not installed properly • Radon survey testing not performed according to protocols WWW.NRSB.ORG

  14. Resolution of Complaint • Review of complaint is overseen by qualified Board member in conjunction with NRSB administrative office • NRSB outreach to state radon program WWW.NRSB.ORG

  15. Resolution of Complaint • NRSB outreach to radon professional regarding complaint and work towards resolution by corrective actions WWW.NRSB.ORG

  16. Certification Revocation & Appeals • Revocations and denials of certification may be made by Board for any violation of certification requirements WWW.NRSB.ORG

  17. Certification Revocation & Appeals cont. • Any person for which revocation is contemplated shall have a right to appeal WWW.NRSB.ORG
