  2. Sir Walter Buffalo • Sir Walter buffalo is one of the easiest care, low maintenance of turf types. They are hard wearing, handles medium and high foot traffic. You have to give 2 – 3 hours of direct sun per day its good for it. Its growth speed is very fast and colour is dark green.

  3. Sapphire Buffalo • Sapphire Buffalo is extremely hard wearing and it tolerates up to 70% shade, give it 2 – 3 hours of direct sun per day. Its growth speed is slow and colouris deep green with slightly bluish tint and it stays green all year round.

  4. Matilda Buffalo • Matilda Buffalo tolerates medium to high traffic and hard wearing like sapphire buffalo give it 2 – 3 hours of direct sun per day. Its growth speed is medium to fast and colouris deep green.

  5. Palmetto Buffalo • A great low maintenance lawn that handles a lot of suns and its hard wearing and high traffic tolerance. It tolerates up to 50% shade, gives it 4 – 5 hours of direct sun per day. Its growth speed is slow to medium and colouris dark emerald green.

  6. Velvet Soft Leaf Buffalo • The hardest wearing of the buffalo turf types on the market is velvet soft leaf buffalo. Like palmetto buffalo, it tolerates up to 50% shade, gives it 4 – 5 hours of direct sun per day. Its growth speed is medium and its colour varies and seasonal look is distinct purple tint in winter.

  7. ST91 Buffalo • Hardest wearing of all the shade tolerant grasses and it tolerates up to 91% shade, can survive on 1 hour of direct sun per day. Its growth speed is slow (but medium in sunny areas) and its colour variations and seasonal look can take on a purple tint in winter.

  8. ST85 Buffalo • ST85 buffalo have 85% Shade tolerance, this is a good lawn in that respect. However ST91 buffalo has largely replaced it on market.
