INVOLVING ADMINISTRATION • Have the principal attend the lunch hour • Rotate between tables, talking with children at each table • Encourage other members of administration to also sit around the tables with children • As part of art class, have children create flowers out of construction paper • Flowers will be placed in watering cans on lunch tables

  4. THEME DAY MENU • Turkey club (with roast beef and bacon) on a WG bun with sandwich trimmings • Meatball sub on a WG bun with provolone cheese • Hummus and veggie sub on WG bun • Berry and yogurt fruit parfait (1/2 cup) • Apple slices (1 apple’s worth) • Three bean salad (1/2 cup) • Roasted broccoli salad (1/2 cup) • French baguette

  5. DECORATIONS • Paper flowers in watering cans (brought in by teachers and staff)
