  2. Step 1 • Make sure that both parties’ mobile phones support the videotelephony feature. • Ex.: Application (FaceTime, Tango, etc.) WiFi 3G network

  3. Step 2 • Ensure you are property attired and presentable. • Ex.:  Have clothes on Wear appropriate garments

  4. Step 3 • See to it that your partner is ready before requesting a video conversation • Ex:.  Contact them beforehand to receive consensus  Advise him/her of the purpose of the video call

  5. Step 4 • Remember to maintain privacy and stay away from sound pollution • Ex.:  Avoid noisy crowds  Respect the privacy of the conversation  One on one conversation unless your partner has agreed to otherwise

  6. Step 5 • Give your partner full attention. • Ex.:  Maintain eye contact  Keep the interest throughout the conversation  Stay on topic

  7. Step 6 • Take proper consideration of your surroundings and movements. • Ex.:  Carrying on a video conversation while walking can be dangerous.  Too much movements might blur the image  Reduce distractions as much as possible

  8. Step 7 • Maintain approximately a two feet distance between yourself and the camera. • Ex:  Being too close would blur the image  being too far would result you and your partner not being able to see each other

  9. Step 8 • Speak loud enough and articulate. • Ex.:  As you hold the phone away from you, you must speak louder and clearer.

  10. Step 9 • Good lighting is a must to carry on a video conversation. • Ex.:  Having dim lighting defeats the purpose of video conversation because your partner cannot see you
