All to know about spray patterns

Spray pattern basically refers to a shape of any fluid substance which is released from a pressurized source. Spray patterns services ensure the degree of evenness which is applied to a surface with a protective fluid. Better corrosion prevention can be detected from a good spray pattern. This is basically designed to perform various operating conditions.

  1. All to know about spray patterns Spray pattern basically refers to a shape of any fluid substance which is released from a pressurized source. Spray patterns services ensure the degree of evenness which is applied to a surface with a protective fluid. Better corrosion prevention can be detected from a good spray pattern. This is basically designed to perform various operating conditions. So, know about some factors of spray patterns: Some basic factors of spray patterns that are influenced are as follows:- ●A geometric type of design of the nozzle outlet. ●It looks like a geometry type of shape. ●It transfers the liquid. ●Some of the liquid properties are (specific gravity, viscosity) While selecting a nozzle based or any other spray characteristics the pattern will act as good results. Let's discuss about the usage of spray pattern which is described below:- ●Solid Stream High impact per unit area is provided by this nozzle. It is also used in various cleaning purposes. For example, this type of solid stream nozzles will not break in any situation even in high pressure condition. It will provide solid and compact flow. 1. tank-cleaning nozzles. ● Hollow Cone Hollow Cone is a spray pattern which is a kind of circular ring of liquid. This particular pattern is derived by the use of an inlet orifice tangential to a cylindrical swirl chamber. This liquid results in a shape which is circular. The center of this ring is hollow in shape. For that reason, it can help to have closerdroplets and at a fixed surface. You can have two types of hollow cone Tangential-flow hollow cone Axial-flow hollow cone Both have its unique features. These nozzles are the best for good atomization of liquids at a low pressure. Some features of hollow cone nozzles are:- 1. 2. large and unobstructed flow passages,

  2. 3. distributions. 4. nozzle helps to break the fluid into different parts of several hollow cone patterns. These features provide a high resistance to clogging and also the smallest drop size One can also achieve this pattern by the spiral design of nozzle. This spiral shape ● Full Cone Its shape is a round, oval or square shaped area. Full Cone nozzles help to complete spray of coverage. Normally the liquid gets circulated within the nozzle and it is mixed with non-spinning liquid which has bypassed an internal vane. These depends on the various factor:1. One type of design called Vane and 2. The location is relative to the exit orifice. They are also affected by 1. A design called exit orifice and 2. The relative geometric proportions. ● Flat Spray Flat spray appears like a flat sheet of liquid. There are two different ways by which these patterns are formed:- 1. elliptical or 2. around orifice on a reflective surface. Two categories of flat spray are:- 1. Tapered and 2. Even, which depends on the same type of spray (uniformly) Conclusion There are so many types of spray nozzles and all have its unique features, so buy a spray nozzle according to your needs.
