Name of Artifact: Pro Con Date: November 30, 2012 Course: EDUC 101 Brief Description: After researching a contemporary trend or issue, I provided the pros and cons of the argument and why they are valid arguments. Rationale: This assignment demonstrates my understanding of standard 5 because it shows that I can use differing perspectives to engage learners in critical thinking, creativity, and collaborative problem solving related to authentic local and global issues.

  6. Separation of Church and State • The Constitution • Danbury Baptists • What the first amendment actually says; • Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof • Government cannot create or endorse a certain religion
