  4. Present Catholic and JCMA in Japan Total Catholics:447,700 = 0.35% of whole population Members of JCMA: 700 = 0.25% of whole doctors Unregistered Catholic Doctors: 300 total:1000 = 0.36% of whole doctors

Social evangelization activities ( symposiums, lectures for public)

  9. Medical Mission to Philippines ・Started in 1985 by Dr. Takeuchi ・Cooperation with Philippines Catholic’s CBHDP (Community Based Health Development Program) ・Referral Center was built in 1987 in Guibang, Gamu, Isabela Province ・Mission continued for 23ys until today in every summer

  11. Today’s issues to be solved 1. Decrease of members, especially young doctors 2. Aging of members 3. Discrepancy of activity among chapters 4.Lack of cooperation with other health-care-associations

  12. Establishment of Federation Sept. 29, 2008 Federation of Japan Catholic Health Care Associations was established. Alliance with; Associations of Doctors, Nurses and Medical Institutes
