  1. The Private Power Infrastructure Board (PPIB) has approved the name of law firmM/sHowardKennedyforrepresentingthegovernmentofPakistanin LCIA Arbitration in M/sStarHydropowerLimited (SHPL)case As of late, MD PPIB, Shah Jahan Mirza advised the Board that Star Hydro PowerRestricted (SHPL) and NTDC went into disagreementregardingdeferinestablishmentof PowerBuyer betweenAssociationOffice byNTDC. The two players recorded counter arbitral cases against one another before LCIA, wherein NTDC’s case was excused and it was tracked down in break of terms of PPA in making installment of exchanged harms. From there on, SHPL documented case under the watchful eye of Lahore High Court for implementation of the Honor, though NTDC asacounterproceduretestedtheHonorin CommonCourtLahoreand the two cases are forthcoming under the steady gaze of the particular Courts. In the meantime, SHPL raised interest for installment of Grant from NTDC and CPPA-G, which was dismissed by CPPA-G. Thusly, SHPL served request notice upon PPIB under segment 1 .5.1 of Assurance, whichwasdismissedbyPPIBongroundsthatitwasillogicalunderthe relevantlawsof Pakistan
