Jesus is “I AM”

Exodus 3:13-14 But Moses protested, "If I go to the people of Israel and tell them, ‘The God of your ancestors has sent me to you,' they won't believe me. They will ask, ‘Which god are you talking about? What is his name?' Then what should I tell them?".

  1. Exodus 3:13-14 But Moses protested, "If I go to the people of Israel and tell them, ‘The God of your ancestors has sent me to you,' they won't believe me. They will ask, ‘Which god are you talking about? What is his name?' Then what should I tell them?" God replied, "I AM THE ONE WHO ALWAYS IS [I AM WHO I AM (NIV)]. Just tell them, ‘I AM has sent me to you.'” God is “I AM” Jesus is “I AM” John 8:58 "I tell you the truth," Jesus answered, "before Abraham was born, I am!"

  2. Jesus is “I AM” (Gospel of John) … Bread of Life … He … Resurrection and Life … Light of the World … The One … Way, Truth, and Life … The True Vine … You …

  3. Jn 11:23 Jesus told her, "Your brother will rise again." "Yes," Martha said, "when everyone else rises, on resurrection day." Jn 11:23 Jesus told her, "Your brother will rise again." "Yes," Martha said, "when everyone else rises, on resurrection day." “What” Luke 14:13-14 Instead, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, and the blind. Then at the resurrection of the godly, God will reward you for inviting those who could not repay you." In this state of spirituality, in knowing the Creator, man will reach a level of ecstasy beyond our mortal grasp. As the prophet (Isaiah 64:3; see Brachot 34b) describes it, "no eye has ever seen [it]." The World to Come is inconceivable; the prophet himself cannot describe it. It is beyond the conception of a created human being to comprehend what it means to be connected to the Source of all existence. Without resurrection, without man's knowing that he, as he now perceives himself, will experience this pleasure, the idea of the World to Come is irrelevant. Rabbi Mordechi Blumenfield - The resurrection of the dead is a basic principle of the Torah of Moses. Anyone who does not believe it has no connection with the Jewish Nation. Resurrection and the World to Come are part of the same concept, for resurrection is the beginning of the World to Come. Before the resurrection, no one partakes of the World to Come. Essentially … both aspects of the “life” are rooted in the understanding of Jesus as the Mediator of the divine sovereignty in the present and in the future … or in other words … he is exactly everything they imagined and more … it isn’t just a place, but it is who he is. Jn 11:24-26 Jesus told her, "I am the resurrection and the life. Those who believe in me, even though they die like everyone else, will live again. They are given eternal life for believing in me and will never perish. Do you believe this, Martha?" Philippians 3:10-11 As a result, I can really know Christ and experience the mighty power that raised him from the dead. I can learn what it means to suffer with him, sharing in his death, so that, somehow, I can experience the resurrection from the dead!

  5. Jesus walks on water … … feeds 1000’s from nothing … … gives sight to the blind … … changes weather patterns … … reveals the future … … heals the sick/diseased/disfigured …

  6. Jn 11:21 Martha said to Jesus, “Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died.” I said it out loud for the sake of all these people standing here, so they will believe you sent me." Then Jesus shouted, "Lazarus, come out!" And Lazarus came out, bound in graveclothes, his face wrapped in a headcloth. Jesus told them, "Unwrap him and let him go!" Jn 11:4 Jesus said, “Lazarus’s sickness will not end in death. No, it is for the glory of God, I, the Son of God, will receive glory from this.” Jn 11:40-44 Jesus responded, "Didn't I tell you that you will see God's glory if you believe?" So they rolled the stone aside. Then Jesus looked up to heaven and said, "Father, thank you for hearing me. You always hear me, but … Jn 11:37 But some said, “This man healed a blind man. Why couldn’t he keep Lazarus from dying?” Jn 11:14-15 Then he told them plainly, “Lazarus is dead. And for your sake, I am glad I wasn’t there, because this will give you another opportunity to believe in me.” Jn 11:32 When Mary arrived and saw Jesus, she fell down at his feet and said, “Lord, if you had been here my brother would not have died.”
