  4. Passage to Freedom • This week we will read Passage to Freedom by Ken Mochizuki. As we read, we will identify the central problem of the story and the actions the main character takes to solve the problems. Good readers identify the problems that drives the story so they can see how events connect and how the problem is resolved.
