  1. Capacity of cluster Members enhanced • Nutrition Assessment – RNA, Sentinel Site Surveillance expanded, more SMART surveys conducted by cluster members. • Capacity Mapping – and – gap filling. • Nutrition in Emergency (NiE): Main Manual edited; Key Messages enhanced and printed. Adequate capacity for all regions and selected provinces prone to disasters.

  2. Enhancement of cluster members Capacity Continued • IYCF-E: support PND to develop a simple policy on IYCF-E and Key messages. • As part of transitioning activities support PND – capacity to collect, compile, analysiz and share the CMAM data with nutrition cluster partners on monthly basis • PND lead cluster supported Simulation exercise as part of country preparedness to respond nutrition related emergencies.

  3. Coordination/Partnership • Monthly Cluster Meetings and Ad hoc meeting as needed. • As part of transitioning activities support PND establish and/or maintain appropriate sector coordinationmechanisms that concentrate on NiE related areas at the national, and where necessary at provincial level; • Proper coordination with FSAC, WASH and Health clusters on monitoring and nutritional situation analysis. • With the help of PNOs continue support regional clusters and establish a system of coordination in SR.

  4. Advocacy • Continue advocacy and resource mobilization e.g cluster actively participate in all the consolidated appeals (CHAP, CERF, ERF etc) • Prepare and report to OCHA the MTR of the CHAPand make changes according to the situation of the country and cluster need. • Prioritize core advocacy concerns of the cluster and the Humanitarian coordination team lead by OCHA. • Cluster actively participate in the OCHA lead quarterly reports. • Publish and share the NC Quarterly Bulletin.

  5. Information Management Enhanced/Interventions • Support strengthening of nutrition information system [including emergency related, sentinel site surveillance, Surveys, RNA] and their synergies. • Cluster supports the national nutrition survey. • As part of transitioning activities support PND in archiving Nutrition data including survey results, sentinel site and CMAM data.

  6. Information Management Enhanced/Interventions • Support coordinated assessment and ensure nutritional needs during emergencies is well covered. • Ensure the NC actively participates in the finalization of the Initial Assessment tool in discussion • As part of transitioning activities upportPND – capacity to collect, compile, analysiz and share the CMAM data with nutrition cluster partners on monthly basis.

  7. Information Management Enhanced/Interventions • Acutely malnourished under-five children and PLW receive appropriate and timely treatment and protected from further deterioration. CHAP target: 587,598 U5 and PLW. • Cluster target: 271,255 – acutely malnourished U5 and pregnant/lactating women for treatment.
