  6. Sixth Form Professional Pathways (September 2015) • Target cohort: • 5 GCSEs A*-C including English and mathematics • Average GCSE points score 40-43* • Positive attitude to learning • Strong communication skills • Genuine interest in chosen sector • *QCA points: C=40, B=46

  7. Specialisms across the cluster of academies: Securities and Investment, Information Technology, Project Management In practice – a student at Globe Academy *currently in development

  8. Increasing Participation • Incentives for corporate partners to develop meaningful links with education providers from a very early stage • Incentives for all schools to offer higher apprenticeships to a wider range of students • Improve the public perception of apprenticeships
