  1. I work as a Computer Lab Assistant for Dona Ana Community College East Mesa Center. We have about 60+ computers in the computer lab.

  2. This is me with my awesome name-tag. Much power is bestowed upon the wearer of the name-tag.

  3. We sign in to let our boss know we were there that day.

  4. Second Tuesday of every month Microsoft releases updates. Time to update all of our 60+ computers!

  5. Even though our computers are behind a firewall, some students bring in viruses.

  6. This is why It’s very important for us to scan student usb drives.

  7. Sometimes if a computer is not acting properly, we perform machine surgery until we fix the problem.

  8. It is also one of our responsibilities to help the students with computer problems that they have such as printing, computer errors, and whatever specialized knowledge the Lab Assistants have.

  9. Cleanliness prevents internal computer fires. We need to make sure chairs are pushed in, computers are straight, and clean accumulated dirt.

  10. At the end of the day, we are also responsible for shutting down the computers and locking the doors. We place the sacred name-tags in their resting places.
