  2. Fund raising events • Lectures given by famous persons (Križnar) • Musical • Chistmas fair • Money goes to the school solidarity fund to help students from under priviliged environmentor to other organizations

  3. Obvezne izbirne vsebine (Obligatoryoptionalcontents) • Workshopsfromnon-governmentalorganizations

  4. School subjects: Pschycology • Final year: prejudice, social roles, equality between sexes • Second year: emotions and empaty, project day Geographical discoveries (stereotypes and prejudice) • World Day of Mental Health: exhibitions, students write compositions and poems

  5. Amnesty International group • Apel Writing Marathon: since 2011 students write letters to people responsible for injustice, breaking the human rights, ecological problems,etc. • 3-4 hours in each class

  6. Immigrant students • Adjusted programme: no marks in the first two years of schooling, adapted testing • Course of Slovene language: obligatory, funded by the Ministry of Education, additional hours sponsered by the project “Challenges of intercultural coexistence” • Christmas fair: students-immigrants prepare stands with their traditional food, souvenirs, objects....

  7. National projects: Intercultural Learning and Accepting Differences for Successful Living for students- immigrants We hosted the final event where the students-immigrants prepared cultural-artistic programme presenting their traditions and customs and the best literary composition “Nobody is an island, alone for himself” eTwinningproject: Together in Europe
