Mentors can act as an additional source of guidance not only related to Housing but in other aspects of the college experience
Many people getting into IRHA for the first time are also First-Year Students and this can offer a way to assist these students with the transfer to collegeWhat is this mentorship Program
Over the past few weeks, we analyzed the feedback from the 2011-2012 program. To consistently better ourselves and the program, we can now provide new aspects to the program that our members provided feedback about.
The program is now more flexible and allows mentor/mentees to plan outings around their own schedule
Successful pairs will be honored for their completion of the program
The program provides more structure in its mission and goals
Mentees will undergo a further introduction to housing, meet more leaders, and enjoy an overall more social experience
The new and improved point system! Pairs are encouraged to fulfill at least the minimum points in every category.
