Dancers and participants deprive • themselves of sleep and comfort for 46 • hours but it is nothing like what a kid with • cancer goes through. III. THON is very fulfilling to the participant involved and it is a life changing experience.

  4. Donations, Donations, Donations! Most say the economy is in a “rough spot” that is why they are not able to donate. (THON Penn State IFC/Pan-Hellenic Dance Marathon)

  5. Donations play a huge role, but so do the dancers!

  6. Dancers deprive themselves of sleep and comfort for 46 hours… Sleep deprivation=malfunctioning brain neurons which effect behavior.
