  2. 住基ネットにおける都道府県サーバの集約化について住基ネットにおける都道府県サーバの集約化について 現行 　各都道府県に、住基ネットの都道府県サーバ設置 H25.12～H26.1 集約化後 　平成２６年２月から、全国にある都道府県サーバを、一か所（集約センター）に集約 （経緯） 　もともと住基ネットは、制度設立時の法改正において、「国の機関が一元的に本人確認情報を管理するというものではなく、分散・分権型のシステム」（平成11年7月29日国会答弁）とされており、各都道府県でサーバを保有し管理していた。 　しかしながら、各都道府県から、集約による経費節減の要望があり、ラスデックで検討後、法制度面、費用面から集約化は可能と結論付けられたため、集約化を実施することとなった。
