Take home translators as a bridge to conversation to then build to reading

Identify special needs of participants that provide barriers to learning (learning disabilities)

Flexible scheduling of literacy classes

Provide incentives to learners to increase program retention

Offer learning material in person’s first language

LIFT, United Way programs, Gaylord Texan Program, volunteer matching. Events: Literacy Day at the Zoo, Half Price Books donation, local libraries, churches and schools.
