  7. In Simple Terms What’s the Difference Between Select and Enterprise? The Select Agreement is a simple vehicle for buying individual licenses. You choose the products and also choose to include Software Assurance on those products. The Enterprise is a way to manage and reduce the cost of your Microsoft Environment – • Establish your core products • Additional Training and Technical Support for Your Environment • Licensed for the most current versions of those products. • Direct access to Microsoft for benefits that reduce your total cost of computing. • Also, your cost will decrease in years 4,5,6 if you choose to renew the EA agreement

  8. Select Volume Licensing Existing Features and Benefits: • Purchases tracked via enrollment unique to each agency. • Purchasing Software Assurance is initially optional. Once a customer chooses to buy SA they are committed to buy each year of the contract and may pay on an annual basis. • Current agreement expires June to be replaced with new three year agreement. SA customers have option to continue on this new contract. • Monthly report of usage is required.

  9. Enterprise Agreement Licensing • Three year agreement priced per desktop per year. • Relationship: more direct relationship with Microsoft • Pricing protected for full term of EA • Annual Reporting Requirement rather than monthly
