ant

Ants are small insects with six legs.

Ants live in groups called colonies.

Ants have antennae on their heads that help them taste, smell and touch.

Ants live almost everywhere in the world.

Till, when they came to the valley of the ants, one of the ants said: "O ants! Enter your dwellings, lest Sulaymaan and his hosts should crush you, while they perceive not."

bee

Bees live almost everywhere in the world.

Bees come in many colors such as black, gray, yellow, red, green, or blue.

Some bees live in groups called colonies.

Honey bees make honey.

And your Lord inspired the bee, saying: "Take you habitations in the mountains and in the trees and in what they erect.

camel

Camels are mammals that live in hot, dry deserts.

Camels can go for a long time without drinking water.

There are two kinds of camels: the Arabian, or dromedary camel, which has one hump, and the Bactrian camel, which has two humps.

And proclaim to mankind the Hajj. They will come to you on foot and on every lean camel, they will come from every deep and distant mountain highway (to perform Hajj).

crow

Crows are found on almost every continent.

Crows are usually black.

Crows are among the most intelligent of birds.

The voices of crows are loud and usually harsh.

Then Allâh sent a crow who scratched the ground to show him how to hide the dead body of his brother. He (the murderer) said: "Woe to me! Am I not even able to be as this crow and to hide the dead body of my brother?" Then he became one of those who regretted. 5:31

donkey

Donkeys belong to the same animal family as horses.

Donkeys have very long ears, a muzzle, short mane, and a tail with a tuft of long hair only at the tip.

Donkeys are called beasts of burden as they are often used for carrying heavy loads

The likeness of those who were entrusted with the Torah, but who subsequently failed in those (obligations), is as the likeness of a donkey which carries huge burdens of books…. (but understands nothing from them).

elephant

Elephants are the biggest land animals.

They can reach up to 13 feet in height.

There are two types of elephants: African elephants and Asian elephants.

Elephants have long trunks. They also have big tusks made of ivory.

Have you (O Muhammad [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam]) not seen how your Lord dealt with the Owners of the Elephant? 105:1

fly

O mankind! A similitude has been coined, so listen to it (carefully): Verily, those on whom you call besides Allâh, cannot create (even) a fly, even though they combine together for the purpose. And if the fly snatches away a thing from them, they will have no power to release it from the fly. So weak are (both) the seeker and the sought.

22:73

A fly is an insect.

A fly has six legs.

A fly has a single pair of wings.

Although flies can be annoying and pesky, they can also be helpful in many ways such as carrying pollen to plants and eating other bothersome insects.

monkey

Monkeys are animals called primates.

Most monkeys live in warm rain forests.

Monkeys have two legs and two long arms with hands that can grasp things.

Monkeys are among the smartest animals.

So when they exceeded the limits of what they were prohibited, We said to them: "Be you monkeys, despised and rejected." 7:166

mosquito

A mosquito is an insect.

Only female mosquitoes suck blood. Males feed on nectar and water.

Many mosquitoes carry diseases such as malaria and yellow fever.

Female mosquitoes only lay their eggs in water.

Verily, Allâh is not ashamed to set forth a parable even of a mosquito or so much more when it is bigger (or less when it is smaller) than it.

spider

Spiders belong to a group of animals known as arachnids.

Spiders have eight legs.

The bodies of spiders have two parts: a head and thorax area and an abdomen.

Many spiders spin webs to catch prey.

The likeness of those who take Auliyâ' other than Allâh is the likeness of a spider who builds a house; but verily, the frailest of houses is the spider's house – if they but knew.
